Welcome to SOS where we will start once again from the bottom. No goals or mission have been written and some old issues must be resolved before we can move forward. Those issues will not be dropped. Instead , they will be dealt with. Although we do carry the sosen name, we do so legally. In the very beginning the name was copyrighted and passed on to me. Legally, the name should follow where I go but that is a different battle.
SOS, in this form, stands for "Social Outcast Support network." Changing two words takes away some of the feelings of oppression and makes this forum more welcoming. The banning of a long time member over the change of his old user name to one that could be viewed as political, is when it sunk in that we had gone a long way in the wrong direction. The story is that this member was not banned, only the ID. The fact is that the member is gone and this ID was/is used in many places. SOSEN Inc officials stepped way over the line by taking this action.
This group is for members with no plans for becoming a corporation that turns it into a business. At some point that issue always seems to surface. Aren't we under the thumb of the government enough? Do we want government money and an additional set of rules and regulations that hold us accountable?
We have one another and that is all we are likely to ever have. A group has heart and it all disappears when that group is turned into a business. We are a group and intend to remain a group. Those who are content with being a group are welcomed here.
